Harbor Light believes that each child is special and very important to God. We are committed to providing a quality-learning environment where children will experience God's love. We strive for excellence in all our classes at every age level. We believe in the importance of children learning the things of God as they develop a personal relationship with Him.

What does Children's Ministries offer me?

Birth through Toddler: Child care is offered every time a small group meets (if they have requested it) or on a Sunday morning. During special events, the nursery is available for children up to age 4. Click for more information about Infant & Toddler Nursery. Every Easter we host an Easter Egg Hunt, and every October we throw a huge Harvest Festival. Both events are fun for kids of all ages!

Preschool: If you have a child in preschool, we have several options:

1. Sunday School on a Sunday morning.
2. Nursery care up to age 4 at special events like FCS concerts or other productions held at Harbor Light.
3. Wednesday nights Prime Time begins at age 5.
4. Day Camps occur throughout the year. Children's Ministries offer fun field trips, movies, jump houses, and lots of fun for your child beginning at age 5.
5. Sunday nights your preschooler can go to Rainbows - a club where they are taught Christian values in a preschool-friendly environment.
6. Every Easter we host an Easter Egg Hunt.
7. Every October we throw a huge Harvest Festival. Both events are fun for kids of all ages!

Elementary: Your First - Sixth grade student has plenty to opportunities here at Harbor Light.

1. Sunday mornings at 9:00 is Sunday School (we call it Kid's Club @ 9). Sunday continues with Kid's Church where the kids sit with their parents during the worship service, then are dismissed to the Y-Building. Once a month the kids stay in the service the whole time - we call it Family Sunday.
2. Sunday nights at 6:00 your boy may attend Royal Rangers in the FCS gym. Your girl may attend Missionettes in the FCS activities building. Both Rangers and Missionettes are scouting programs where your child can go on trips and earn badges.
3. Wednesday nights Prime Time is for kids ages 5 years old up through Fifth Grade. Sixth graders attend the youth service in the Y-Building.
4. Every Easter we host an Easter Egg Hunt.
5. October we throw a huge Harvest Festival. Both events are fun for kids of all ages!
6. Day camps occur throughout the year. We offer field trips, movies, jump houses, and lots of time to play.
7. DivorceCare for Kids is offered in September of each year for students 2nd - 6th grade.

Special Events: 

*Easter Egg Hunt - We invite you to join us on Saturday, April 3rd at 9:00 am for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt. Click here for more information.

• Summer Break - Jumpin' June, June 14-18, 2010
• Summer Break - Summer Splash, August 23-27, 2010.
• Summer Break - Summer Smash, August 30-September  3, 2010.
• Christmas Break - Christmas Craze 1, December 20-23, 2010. This is a 4-day camp.
• Christmas Break - Christmas Craze 2, December 27-30, 2010. This is a 4-day camp.
