A:  I carry bacon because it is a delicious snack - high in fat and protein!

Q2:  What do you like best about Harbor Light?
A:  There are many reasons that I love Harbor Light but to be brief, it just feels like home.  This church is the closest thing to what I was used to growing up in South Africa.  One of the big differences, however, is that in South Africa the services would go on for 3-4 hours!  There was no 12:00pm deadline!

Q3:  What is the best book you have ever read?
A:  This is a tough one because there are SO many great books and I read all the time.  But recently I read Joyce Meyer's book:  Secrets to Exceptional Living and it changed the way I think about what it means to live the fruit of the Spirit. I don't think it the best book I've ever read, but it definitely impacted me.

Q4:  You have taught the Bible for many years. Tell us about your desire to teach.
A:  I love the Word and I just have this drive inside of me to teach people what I am learning.  I look around me and see so many Christians that seem to be struggling with life.  All the answers to the problems we face are found in the Word.  We just have to read it.  When you read the Bible, you see how amazing God is and you begin to realize that there is nothing too big for Him.  I want to help them see that and get them excited about reading the Bible and opening themselves up to the treasures found there.

Also, I believe with all my heart that we need a solid foundation in the Word so that we can recognize the devil's tactics.  Without knowing the Word, it is very easy to be deceived by him. So many philosophies look good and if you don't know the Word, you can definitely end up going down the wrong path.  I can't stand by and see that happen.  The Truth MUST be taught.

Q5:  I don't think its fair that God give the same person the ability to teach and sing. You do both so well. When did you learn you could sing and what reward do you get from being apart of the worship  team?
A:  I love to worship and music ministers deeply to me.  I started singing when I was about 5 - my Dad led worship at tent meeting revivals and I used to stand up in front of 1000s of people and sing my heart out.  And I haven't stopped.

Q6:  Where did you meet your husband Mike?A:  I met Mike at the last church we attended.

Q7:  What is your favorite dessert?
A:  My favourite dessert is chocolate cake with hot fudge drizzled all over it and french vanilla ice cream on the side!

Q8:  Who are you going to vote for president in the 2008 election?
A:  No idea!  I figure I have plenty of time to ponder that question but as quickly as time goes by, maybe I should get busy!!!

Q9:  Where do you currently work and what do you do?
A: I work in a Chiropractic office and I am in charge of the finances.  I love my job because we see wonderful things everyday.  I am privileged to see people that have been told by their medical doctors that they will have to live with the pain, get better.  And they are doing it without prescription medications.  I just wish that people could understand that there is a place for both the medical profession and the Chiropractic profession.  But that's me getting on my soap box and I need to stop!

Q10:  If there is one question you could get answered from God, what would it be?
A:  I don't get the whole dinosaur and creepy insect thing!!!  What were You thinking?
