Family Backpacking Trip
Memorial Day Family Backpacking Trip
When: May 24 to May 25
Cost: $50 per person, $125 max per family
All Royal Rangers and their families are welcome to join us on our first ever Family Backpacking Trip. We will be venturing to Sunol Regional Wilderness on a 2 mile hike to High Valley Group Camp (This camp does have chemical toilets). Important dates regarding this trip:
5/18/08 - Commander Miller will be available in the Gym at 4:00pm to answer questions and help equip those in need of backpacking gear.
5/20/08 - Mandatory Gear and Equipment Check. All backpacks will be inspected to make sure they have the required gear and epuipment for the trip. Patrol gear and food will also be distributed at this meeting.
