Offering Contest 2009

What?  Offering Contest to give as much $$$ as possible to BGMC

When?  January, February & March, 2009

Who?  Children in grades 1-6

How?  Every Sunday that Kid's Church meets, bring your money in a bag which has the amount inside the bag and your child's name. Each week we will record who gives and how much they have given. At the end of March the winner or winners will be announced.

Boys -vs- Girls = We are having a friendly competition between the boys and the girls in Kid's Church. If the BOYS win, Pastor Brent will dye his hair PURPLE, but if the GIRLS win, Pastor Brent will dye his hair PINK. Which color do you want to see on Pastor Brent?!?

Why? I'm glad you asked!

  • The first reason is because The Boys & Girls Missionary Challenge (BGMC) program is a national Assemblies of God program designed to prepare children for participation in world evangelism. BGMC's purpose is to serve the local church by preparing children for their fullest participation in world evangelism by motivating children to Know, Care, and Reach the lost. BGMC provides resources to help teach kids about missions. It supports our missionaries in thier fields of ministry in America and around the world. Did you know? Among the Assemblies of God Missionaries, 85% were called to be missionaries while they were between the ages of 9 and 13!
  • The second reason is that the child who gives the most (over $100) will win a PSP!!!

If you have any questions, please call Children's Ministries at (510) 744-2222.
